Happy New Year!

As we welcome in 2008, I would like to thank ya’ll for checking out our blog. 2007 came with many emotional challenges (old doors closing, new doors opening) and with the help of all ya’ll, I was able to prevail. Thank you for your kindness, lending of an ear, emails of advise and courage, sharing tears and most of all sharing laughs.

I, OoRah and Trixie wish ya’ll some awesome adventures in 2008.

Happy New Year!

Today we went to visit Grandmama and Grandpa...and of course to pick up some Black Eye Peas and Collard Greens for our New Year's Day tea. Grandmama makes the best Black Eye Peas and Collards...they so good it makes ya wanna slap somebody!
Grandmama and Grandpa have a awesome back yard and we ran and played all day.
We took a lil break to take some pics.
Then it was time for a rare family picture.
We finally got to meet momma's brother, our Uncle Landie. Since we were visiting, Landie made an extra effort to stop by. He works odd hours and it has been over two years since momma last saw him.
Check out Grandpa and our cousin Big Mama Sassy relaxing.
We had a great time visiting Grandmama and Grandpa and meeting our Uncle. It was a cool way for sure to complete 2007.
And then when we got home, to every one's surprise, love came a knocking...literally.

Merry Christmas & Happy Anniversary!!

Merry Christmas! Actually Merry Christmas Eve!
And Happy Anniversary! Can you believe it's been one year to the day that daddy and momma drove to Oregon where we were born, picked us up and took us home. This makes Christmas Eve that more special.
The weather here in Cali this Christmas Eve is absolutely gorgeous...low 70's, compared to last Christmas Eve in Oregon, low 40's (see pic cute we looked and daddy all bundled up).
Today we hung out near the beach, got some Java and visited with some of our friends on Del Mar Street.
We wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

Urban Mushers on YouTube...

Check out our pals from 3 Dog Bakery. They are also actively involved with Urban Mushing.

Momma said next year we are going to start mushing...uh oh another new sport for us. "Yeah baby!"

Holiday Mischief

OoRah and Trixie got into the Christmas hat box and decided to create some holiday mischief.
Trixie pretending to be Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. "You got me fooled."
OoRah trying on the antlers.
Uh oh...Trixie proceeds to remove the antlers off of OoRah. Reckon the house is only big enough for one reindeer.
"Trixie is that you under that Santa hat?"

3 Dog Christmas Party!

Trixie trying on her outfit before heading to 3 Dog Christmas party..."You look smashing."
Momma looks like one of Santa's helpers.
Patiently waiting for Santa Clause. Looks like Trixie is actually smiling...she is besides herself waiting for Santa. OoRah of course looks sexy in his Christmas loin clothe.
This lil cutie is all decked out in holiday cheer.
A face only a mum and of course Santa could love.
Santa finally arrived...whose been naughty and whose been nice?
Want to give a "bark" out to Cooper the Great Dane who is recovering from knee surgery. "Get well soon Cooper!"

A Few Good Young Menz...Finally!

The Marines were putting on a car wash today, so momma went home, got her Mini Cooper, grabbed Trixie (this called for a girls only outing) and went to check it out. Scrub-a-dub-dub baby!
Trixie of course got all the love...such a love bug.
Take your pick Elke! I'm thinking the buff one in the white t-shirt will do ya just fine.

Momma Honors Us

Tonight momma honored us by getting a tattoo of us on her back. Momma has all of her previous dogs strategically inked on her body, and tonight was our turn to join the ranks.
Thanx momma...we love you.

Happy Thanksgiving

Because we have so much to be thankful for, momma and Auntie Kellie helped "B" feed the homeless this Thanksgiving at Capo Beach Calvary Church. Yes, momma's name tag says "Hyne", that is the nickname "B" gave her...and that's another story.
Pastor Peter-John blessing the food, and boy was there a lot of food.
Uh oh, momma has a new boyfriend.
She told him to contact her in 8 years though...but until then, strike a peace poise.
Check out Auntie Kellie's new man...he even took home one of her shirts...and that's another story too.
Watch out Tyra Banks! This lil cutie was modeling her new shirt/dress.
Today wasn't just a feast for we got a belated birthday cake from Auntie Debbie. We too have a lot to be thankful for.
We hope everybody had a beautiful Thanksgiving. But remember, do not only be thankful on Thanksgiving, be thankful everyday. Don't concentrate on the things you don't have, but be thankful for what you have.

An extra durable rubber band made for a fun toy at the beach.

"Stretch it that way."
"And it still doesn't break!"

What a Birthday!

While we were taking our morning nap, momma went to 3 Dog Bakery and got us this huge Octopus toy. This toy is killer sweet!
Then Auntie Gretchen called. Yesterday was Koda's birthday, so we had to do a birthday walk. It was great seeing our cousins Koda and Weeko. It was a wild party on the ridge line.
Thanx Auntie Gretchen for the pup-cakes and rawhide bones. This was a great birthday.

Happy Birthday to OoRah & Trixie!

Wow...can you believe we are 1 years of age today. The morning started out with extra kisses and a tasty homemade hotcake!
We got in touch with our litter mate Zoey. She has turned out to be blond and beautiful.
Memories...check us out when we were lil tykes.
We would also like to wish our brother Jake in Canada a happy birthday as well.

Cyclist at the Beach

Today we helped momma run some errands. She told us if we behaved, she would make a pit stop at the beach so we could romp. While heading to the beach trail, we met these cool cyclist, who just loved us...uh and momma too. They wouldn't stop asking questions about us all. Auntie Elke...take your pick!

Haute Dog Halloween Parade

Today we cruised to Belmont Shores for the Haute Dog Halloween Parade and Contest. Sorry to say we did not win (damn...that could have been a year of free kibbles), but we did have a good time. The competition was many great costumes. We better start working on our costume now for next year. Check out OoRah's sexy loin clothe. Yeah baby!
This was one of our fav costumes and they didn't even place. This dog wore this wig, shoes and hot jacket all day without any complaints. His humans were dressed the same way. They should have placed.
This dog walked around and wore these big glasses all day. Now that's dedication.
This was our first Halloween and we had a blast.

Wishing everyone good tricks and/or treats this Halloween.
