Life Jackets Test

Today we tested out our life jackets. Time to suit up.
We swimming now.

Since we have our life jackets on, we can go out farther. Hope no sharks are around.

Everybody is Biking Today

We went mtn biking this afternoon and it seemed as if everybody else had the same ideal.
We met these kool kids that were doing jump stunts...future Xtreme athletes. What a "sweet" jump.

Then we ran into Auntie Debbie.

Ya can't ask for a better Tuesday afternoon. Well of course if our pals from Canada, the Netherlands and Holland were here to join us on the fun...talk about a wild party that would be.

Agility

Tonight was our first agility class ever!!! And we did pretty good. Check out Trixie and daddy working the plank.

Happy Birthday Lance

It's Lance's Birthday this weekend. We met up with Auntie Kellie, Uncle Tony and Lance at their campsite at State Beach to help celebrate Lance's big day...and of course help Lance eat some 3 Dog Bakery birthday cake. Yummie!

Then we hiked to the beach fort wherein Uncle Tony mixed up some cold beverages.

We were not able to surf due to the morning rain...the trails were a lil too muddy to drag a long surf board down, but we enjoyed the water anyway. Water temps were actually quite nice.

So momma and Trixie go in for their usual dip. And to think it was raining a few hours ago. Only in Cali can it rain in the morning and ya go to the beach for a swim in the afternoon.

Sunday in Laguna Beach

Today we took a chill pill and hung out in Laguna Beach. It was a perfect day to share some ice cream with momma.
It was also a perfect day to feed the pigeons, like this man was doing until...

Trixie came along and decided it was time to get her lure on.

We came across this cool dog shop called Surf Dog Market. Since we are going to be learning how to surf with our Cousin Lance, we needed some K9 life jackets.

Trixie is modeling the life jacket for the customers.

"What a beautiful and sweet model" this lady said. "Ya know its true" Trixie says.

Hanging out with the Luractics was awesome fun. There were heaps of fast dogs out today and yes we rocked it with our American Indian Dog moves and speed.

Not a Mundane Monday

Trixie's Boxer boyfriend Cody was in the hood...so that called for a very special play day.

Laid back

This weekend was laid back. Daddy has a opportunity for a Government job, thus he had to prepare his presentation for Monday. Therefore, we chilled and helped him out. Of course we went mountain biking in Deer and Mountain Lion Country. Saturday we saw a Deer, but momma didn't have her camera.
We didn't spot any Deer this morning, but had a great ride.

In the afternoon, we helped momma with her new camera. Trixie was the model and was trying to figure out which was her "good" side.

And, of course we had to get our tandem Frisbee on. Presentation or not...it's Frisbee time!

We hope that our Auntie Kellie and cousin Lance did a great job at the Surf with Your Dog, Surf-a-thon in Del Mar, CA. Hopefully Uncle Tony got some pics of her and Lance and we can post them on the blog.

Today is our Auntie Debbie's birthday. Seeing how birthdays only come once a year, we had to make sure to give her plenty of kisses to commemorate the day.

Lazy & Hot Labor Day

Happy Labor Day y'all! We got on the trail early this morning before it started heating up. The temperature was already high 70's.
We ran into our buddy Boggie.

And into our human friend, whom we don't know his name...but we greet him just about every morning. He's been walking this trail for the past 10 years.

" Momma is eating an Acai' bowl. If i hypnotise her with my blue and green eyes, maybe she will give me some."

"Yeah baby, that was tasty."

OoRah is trying to get some shut eye, but momma won't let him.

"O.K., I will poise handsome real quickly if you let me go back to sleep."

It's a hot day in Cali and hoping everyone stayed cool on this Labor Day.
